Since its founding in 1987 Canadian Rubber & Steel has serviced industry from its 22,000 sq ft facility in Delta BC.  Our vulcanizing division produces both molded and hand built rubber products.  Our steel division manufactures products in ferrous and nonferrous metals or a combination of all components to meet the high demands of our customers.

Our Team


John Nicholson
The GM

John has worked in the steel and rubber industry for over 30 years. He is one of the founding members of Canadian Rubber and Steel Ltd. John has extensive experience serving customers in a wide range of industries including cement, aggregate, concrete, mining, forestry, and bulk material handling. He specializes in custom rubber and steel product manufacturing. As GM his responsibilities include; inside sales, estimating, costing and materials purchasing. John is an important resource of information in many areas, particularly the rubber and steel industry. He graduated from BCIT with a diploma in Mining Technology and is a member of the association of Applied Science Technologists of British Columbia.


Alan Wong
The Designer

Alan has worked for Canadian Rubber and Steel for over 23 years. Alan graduated from BCIT with a diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology, holds a Class 5 Power Engineering Certificate and is a member of the Applied Science Technologists of BC association. Through the years Alan has gained valuable experience in applied mechanics and competency in analyzing, designing and manufacturing machinery, components, systems and assemblies for companies in various industries including consumer goods, transportation and industrial equipment.


John Cherry
The Client Liason

John joined CRS in 2011, bringing 25 years of management, operations and leadership in heavy industrial manufacturing. John has worked with customers from a wide variety of industries and brings his extensive experience in the business development functions of CRS. John is a graduate of BCIT in Operations Management and holds a BSB in Management from the University of Phoenix.


Fiona Hendrix
The Customer Service Rep

Fiona holds a business diploma from BCIT and brings over 25 years of business development and customer service to CRS. She has worked in a number of industries including operating her own consulting firm. As a CRS representative she is responsible for sales, follow-up and client satisfaction. Her role is to make sure and every CRS client is looked after.
